SUMMARY:WULAs and eWULAAS Masterclass: Pretoria
DESCRIPTION:In response to delegate feedback requesting hands-on, practical training for navigating the water use authorisation environment, CBSS has developed a Masterclass for water use licence applications (WULAs) and the eWULAAS system. CBSS will be presenting the Masterclass from 10 – 11 November 2026, in Pretoria, Gauteng Province.\nThis specialised 2‑day  WULAs and eWULAAS Masterclass is designed exclusively for delegates who have completed the CBSS Water Governance Training Course ( https://cbss.co.za/course-description-water-governance/ ). It is aimed at bridging the gap between theoretical governance understanding and real‑life implementation, providing you with the skills and knowledge to move confidently through a complex regulatory terrain.    Participants will work through real-world scenarios, developing the necessary critical thinking skills to correctly identify water uses, and to eliminate water uses that do not require authorisation under a WUL.   \nIt also offers a deep dive into the practical aspects of applying for  WULs, including navigating the e‑WULAAS online portal effectively and confidently. Participants will learn how to prepare compliant documentation, and explore strategies to overcome common technical and procedural challenges in the WULA process.  Attending the Masterclass will improve your WUL applications so that their processing are quicker and more successful.  \nAn Assessment will be conducted of delegates’ level of learning during the course, and a Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to successful learners upon conclusion of the course, which can be used to claim TWO (2) CPD-points from SACNASP and ECSA.\nA minimum number of twelve attendees are required for the course to proceed, and a maximum number of 25 delegates can be accommodated.
