Water Governance Training Course – Pretoria
Water Governance refers to the political, social, economic, legislative and administrative systems in place that influence the use and management of water.
CBSS will be presenting our popular three-day Training Course in Water Governance (focussing on water use license applications (WULAs)), in association with the Water Institute of South Africa (WISA), from 8 – 10 April 2025, in Pretoria, Gauteng Province.
The Course addresses the international context of Water Governance, and explores the South African legislation and institutional arrangements for the governance of water, including aspects such as water use license application (WULA) processes, and the preparation of water and waste management plans.
An Assessment will be conducted of delegates’ level of learning during the course, and a Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to successful learners upon conclusion of the course, which can be used to claim THREE (3) CPD-points from SACNASP and ECSA.
A minimum number of twelve attendees are required for the course to proceed, and a maximum number of 25 delegates can be accommodated. Should more than the maximum number of delegates register for the course, additional Course Dates will be scheduled.
